Squaw Lakes Portage Services
ATV / Camping Gear Portage Service:
Recent camper/guest demand has encouraged the development of
this new service. The Portage Service entails the Camp-host
assisting campers/guests with the hauling of gear to the campsites.
The Camp-host will pull a small wagon, using the service-ATV.
Campers will self-load the ATV-trailer with gear, the Camp-host
will unload gear at the site post-marker. RATE: $10 per-trip
Please be advised. The Camp-host has many responsibilities.
The Camp-Host may be present in the Lake area, but not always
accessible at the Camp-Host site. Please exercise patience.
When the Camp-host is off-site, the ATV/wagon and Carts will
be locked and secured (out of service). Campers/guests will
be required to haul their gear to the sites, without the use
of carts.
NOTE: As a courtesy to other campers, please refrain from arrival/portage
services after 8PM daily. Every attempt will be made to ensure
the Camp-host is onsite during peak arrival and departure periods.
Peak arrival periods are approximately:
3-8 PM THURS / FRI / SAT
Peak Departure periods are approximately:
8-12 AM SAT / SUN
4-7 PM SAT / SUN
Push Cart Rental Service:
(2) Manually Operated Push/Pull Carts will be provided and stored
at Camp-Host site at Squaw Lakes. When Camp-host is physically
onsite, Cart Rentals will be available for rental. RATES: $
5 push-cart rental per hour
$20 cash deposit + temporary hold of Driver license
Cart needs to be returned in good working order, or forfeiture
of deposit.
