Bass Tournament

Several times thru the spring and summer it just seems right to get up early and head to Applegate Lake. Don’t forget to bring your bass boat and your favorite lure. The Lake hosts bass tournaments throughout the summer. The largest bass and the hightest weigh in takes the lead for a day. What better way to enjoy Applegate Lake, friends, and catch the big fish all in one. The sounds of boat motors wake up with the sun. Watch local sports stores for times and event schedule.

Masters Swim

The heat of July sun brings out the swimmers at Applegate Lake. This month the Rogue Valley Masters Swim meet is held in the swimming area at the lake. Saturday starts off with the 1500 Meter Open Swim-3x500 relay Sunday brings around the 5000 meter-3.1 mile open swim. A hosted lunch is provided and a great time to get together with family and friends. The cool clean water of Applegate Lake make a great swimming event enjoyed by all. Contact: Race Director Nate Sanford 541-210-0146 or go on line at natan@redarrow.org Dive in and have a cool time.

Scouting

What a great place to bring that group of Scouts. Rather it be girls or boys Applgate Lake offers that wilderness area for learning and enjoying the fellowship of others.

Tear Droppers

Tear Droppers from all over the west came to Applegate Lake for a convention held at Hart-tish campground in August. Pulling a small unique tear drop shaped trailer and making it a personalized mini home on wheels is the fun and excitement of the convention each one is designed to fit their needs and each with its on personality. The convention takes place on the lakeside of Applegate Lake where stories are exchanged and the smell of potlucks fill the air. Wedding & Reunion

Schedule that special occasion and we will provide the beautiful lakeside setting. Hart-tish Park offers a large day use area with tables in the shade, grass and a great swimming beach. Further down the hill we have lakeside tables and room to get together with family and friends. Plenty of parking is available, as well as a general store to help with those last minute needs. Group camping is available either for RV on the lakeside or tent camping in the trees. Lets put that event on the calendar. Seattle Bar and Jackson Campground are also equipped to handle large groups. Jackson Campgrouond has group settings for day use or camping with ample parking.
